Indigos have an affinity for the colour purple also. It is very calming for many of them. My bedroom is a soft purple...it is my favorite room in the house.

i was born with a large perfect circle on my stomache that is about two inches across and is tan, not blue. the other mark i was born with that was red was a horseshoe shape in between my eyes but slightly higher up on my forehead. i was in a bookstore at a campus this summer skimming through a book that i cant recall the title of unfortunately but the author mentioned he was born with the "mark of a healer" which was this birthmark between his eyes resembling a horseshoe. (mine faded by the time i was a year old and the author mentioned his faded as well) ive done a lot of searching on the net for this and cant come up with anything, so if anyone has heard of that anywhere definately let me know!

i just joined cause i know of a mark similar to what you mention. in india, for those whose main diety is vishnu, they usually have a mark of that shape painted in white on the forehead-quite nice to look at actually. some are also adviatha philosophy scholars-no formal deity-energy focus more. I bet if you look up pictures of vaishnavas and vishnu/wishnu (and maybe also iyengars) you will find pictures of people and statues with this mark.

I never heard of this, ther is an ancient science called moleosophy that study the permanent spot present on the body.
Make a search on google you will find many resources.

One of my daughters was born (2004) with a prominant birth mark on her forehead -an upside down pyramid shape ,red in color ,right on the 3rd eye area ! It has faded alittle ,but gets brighter when she is particularly happy or upset. I have thought this could be related to being an Indigo child. But I havn't seen much info anywhere on this subject !! Would be good to know !!!My forehead ,3rd eye area ,often flares up red aswell ! Go figure !

I was born with a red circularish mark on the back of my hear behind 3rd eye, which i still have, and one over my left eye which had gone when i was about 1 year old. I thought it could be from a previous life (shot through the eye maybe), but I'm more likely a starseed, - no past life memory when regressed.

I have a perfecly round mole on my leg, which has five white moles inside it in a perfect pentogram. I always thought that was odd. My sister has the same one too.

Well, I have this wierd "invisible" birth mark on my stomache. When I get some color from the sun, it is basically the only part of my body that stays the same color. So, if I get burned, I have this oval shaped mark that is my usual skin color. But nothing blue here.
