on second thought, we should do our best to accept people for who they are, and what they do (hide and put up boundaries, even in new age gatherings). to me it seems perfectly acceptable for an indigo chld to take that warrior spirit and use it on the podium that supposedly speaks for indigo children: the new age crowd. quite alright indeed.

I agree with Solari. Laughter has gotten me through alot of frustration. It helps to have someone else to laugh about it with. Someone who witnesses what you do... I know that for myself, I try to view all the mystical sell-out-ness as a part of myself that's falling away. Dissolving. Healing. But I don't try to apply that to anyone else, and get pretty frustrated with it myself, especially when I see my kids and nephews growing up to absolutely hate anything spiritual because all the new agers and fake hippies ruined it for them.

I dunno....someone once mentioned in passing that the "new age movement" was just another gov'ment black ops thingy, which they didn't expect to succeed. But what they didn't count on was Us, older Indigos coming through a head of the rest to start the transition of energy on this planet. When I was 19 (over 20 years ago now) this chick came up to me and said "your sister tells me your into metaphysics", I almost laughed, because what she called 'metaphysics', I just called living! After all, my parents were more of the beatnik/hippy/Magenta/Violet generation and they paved the way for me, the same way that I, as an Indigo with some Magenta and Violet in my aura, and a lot of red overlay, have paved the way for you younger Indigos. As a massage therapist whose 'psychic' gifts lay in the empathic realm, I have healed and bled away much of the pain of those I come into contact with, but it has also caused me to transition over more into Crystal,and thus even more sensitive and at times, That isn't so great.

Personally looking at this site, I don't feel the need to be told why I am here, or why I exist, I already know. I've done my homework and I know I am the physical manifestation of Gods third eye chakra. I have already always seen through the Illusions, I don't need to break through them, I simply need to express clearly to those around me what I see, have always seen since I was a small child (okay it helped that I 'accidently' got into dad's LSD stash as a toddler, but what a way to have my own third eye blasted open!) I see through the "new age movement" and always have, I see through the spiritual vanity that some people attach to being called Indigo, always have. I only need to learn to express what I see, when I see it and make my self heard. I'm learning to be gentle with myself as being able to see so much can be overwhelming.

Hmm, now that I have gone and not just looked at the link, but also seen the links within the blog post, it just confirms everything I just said. It
seems fishy to me when some has to hide behind a name to post anything about us. And it seems presumptive to assume that we Indigos will need to be told who we are or what our mission is. It might be informative to some, but I made it this far without committing suicide or hurting anyone else, I think the children will figure things out for themselves, I think we only need to look inside ourselves to be informed about who we are. Honestly this just looks like an attempt by the gov'ment to control who we are and what we do. Soon we will all be grown-ups and too numerous to control, then what will you say about us? We all had our 'assignments' before we incarnated, we get our information directly from god, if we are open to hearing it, and we don't need anyone to tell us what is right and wrong. Yes we need to figure out what is our ego from our true selves, yes we need to grow up and learn to be in the moment, but I experience this as an individual process that cannot be shared, no matter how much it is discussed with others. So let it be, let us be, and let us do our job. It cannot be forced or rushed. I find it irritating to have Indigos singled out, as if the rest of the chakra system has no importance, Reds, blues, Greens, Yellows, Magentas, Oranges, and Violets are present here too, and they have something to contribute too. Indigos are about balance, let's here it for all of us, and FROM all of us!

In my opinion, the New Age movement initiated many things which ha vebeen well incorporated into our daily lives and which improve our quality of livign immensely:

Consumers coops
organic food
living 'green'
sharing
community living
intentional living

awareness of other cultures
yoga
mediatation

I hav eto leav efor work so I can't go on.

New Age means to me a very general term, yes, bu tit has fostered much improvement to life in our years from my beign 21 until no win my late 50's.
